Synopsis:

Michele Masiello is a young cinematographer based in Edinburgh, UK and Bari, IT. He holds a degree in Film & Media from Queen Margaret University and has started his career in both narrative and commercial productions.

Michele Masiello is a dedicated filmmaker who has a talent for telling stories visually. His skills were recently recognized by the Festival del Cinema Europeo of Lecce, which selected two of his short film projects: "Fuori Essenza" directed by Federico Cornacchia, and "La fine di Neslie" directed by Gerry Ciccimarra. Masiello served as director of photography and camera operator in both productions, demonstrating his ability to bring stories to life through his lens. This recognition highlights his growing reputation as a young cinematographer.

Aside from his work in films, Michele has a growing career in commercial and music video production, having worked with emerging and talented artists from the independent scene, both in the UK and in Italy.

An old man, alone in his flat, experiences the daily struggles of living with dementia. Despite attempting to occupy himself with familiar routine, very soon reality starts to fall away and he finds himself in a state of confusion and panic. He is forced to confront painful memories, whilst fighting to hold on to good ones. Can he come to terms with his condition, and find inner peace? A tale of humanity and the courage of showing resilience in the face of adversity.
