Martin Stocks is an award-winning writer/director. His previous short thriller Toll Booth won multiple awards, and was nominated for Best Yorkshire Short at Oscar-qualifying Leeds International Film Festival. A feature version is now in development, with the project selected to pitch to iFeatures at Aesthetica Film Festival.
He has been lead writer on several game projects, collaborating with ITV and MTV to adapt IPs including Love Island and Ghosted into successful mobile games.
His feature screenplay Humble Pie was commended by BAFTA, and has been a finalist at several screenwriting competitions. Earlier drafts were developed with Nick Goldsmith, Producer, Son of Rambow. This is now in development with Artful Films.
He's also directed and produced numerous factual programmes for a sky business channel and promotional films for clients including EDF Energy and Halfords.
